I am not a person that finds spicy food desirable. However, I am currently IN LOVE with this loaf. It is one of the only loaves that I decorate. It is also one of the more popular loaves that I sell. I enjoy the initial heat brought on by the chopped jalapeños that is slacked by the creaminess of the cheddar, ultimately leaving a touch of heat behind.
I only get to bake off once a week right now, as I work Monday through Friday, Friday overnights and Saturday overnights. I sleep for a few hours on Sunday morning, while the loaves proof, then get up to bake. I look forward to a time when I can bake more often.
